Great Mexican cuisine and excellent service.

Really good food with really large portions and a seemingly happy staff

They make the "very best" nachos, I've ever had. Being in the restaurant business for most of my life, you can't go wrong with there to go Nachos for only $ 11.00. I had it for 2 meals. Great !!!...

Really, really good food! Comfortable atmosphere! Would've been 5 stars if it had been a few dollars cheaper. It's what you expect at the beach though.

We went to this restaurant my mom’s taquito was completely burnt And therefore so hard she couldn’t even eat it and my food had no flavor at all! Never had it so terrible.

Oooh that Guacamole! The table salsa is perfect! My son loves the taquitos (shredded chicken), I love the flautas (shredded beef) and my hubby loves the super nachos. We haven't ordered anything we didn't like. And the menu is EXTENSIVE. They even have vegetarian food, food for kids and American fare (ie hamburgers, etc.)

Excellent Enchiladas de la Crema, served with Rice, Beans, Sour Cream, Chips & Salsa. My oh my, were these flavor filled & the nice folks who work there, were super attentive. When in Florence, Oregon & looking for great Mexican food, please give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Huge Menu selection & if you don't see the exact thing you're looking for, I can bet, they'll create it for you.

We were disappointed.We had expected a bit more. Nice restaurant with very friendly and courteous employees. No complaints on service at all. Sadly, living in Oregon, we have become accustomed to Tex-Mex style Mexican food and don't mind it now and then. Who doesn't like food covered in cheese!? Our food today was lacking in flavour. There was really no distinct seasoning to it. Very bland and even the salt shaker and dumping salsa couldn't help too much. The salsa almost tasted bottled. Props for offering the lunch special pricing / menu on the weekends.

One of my favorite restaurants. The staff is awesome and masked, the food divine - and the margaritas heavenly. Just reminding tourist and locals a like to respect those you come in contact with and wear a mask in public. Plus you can't go wrong with the Ixtapa Platter.

Very traditional Mexican dishes, served on a hot plate with any sauce or topping you want (almost) Definitely recommend if you enjoy Spanish cuisine.

We stopped here on the way from the coast, on a whim, and we are thrilled we did. The service was faster than at any prior establishment we've EVER visited. We had chips, salsa, and water at our table before we had even finished sitting. This evening there was a mariachi band playing. I don't know if this was in honor of Mother's Day or if it's a regular occurrence, but it certainly was entertaining. The food was plentiful and extremely well prepared. It is one time our whim will turn into a return visit.

Ixtapa is one of the #bestmexicanrestaurants anywhere! The menu is HUGE! I love the Steak and Shrimp Fajitas. The are stepping up to feed the local community with take out and local delivery

Always great food and friendly service. They greet you by name immediately and make sure you have your menus while they make you a drink whether it's ice water with lime or a frothy margarita. Vidal makes super salsa and the margarita mix fresh daily. Always a good time with good food.

Excellent, Authentic Mexican food. The staff are very energetic ready to serve you. Good place for get togethers, large families, child seating. Wheel chair accessible. Large parking lot. Bar in the back with Oregon Lottery machines, pool table.

Food here seems to be better here than other Mexican places in the area. First time we went, the margaritas were amazing. The second time they tasted like all mix. Guess it depends on who is working. Place was clean and staff was very nice.

First time here after asking a native of where the best place to eat mexican food in town. So why three stars? Having lived in AZ enough years to know what makes a good mexican diner, it takes alot to top the best. Kudo's to that the food wasn't salty but it also lacked what I would say is a mexican flair and taste. Just seemed bland. One serving of salsa with comp chips that were replenished. Overall good food for the price of our order. Would try the other two popular places in town until I award the blue ribbon. Service was excellent and authentic. No need for burgers on the menu 😄.

Delicious Food, Fair Prices and friendly staff.Its so nice t be eating inside restaurants now.They are practicing social distancing with seating @every other table, staff wearing masks/gloves.Wonderful environment!

The service was slow and there weren't more than three other customers in the restaurant and bar. The food was ok-ish. The kids wouldn't eat the French fries or the cheese Nacho's even though they are favorites elsewhere. I would say they are more expensive than most Mexican food restaurants.

This place is clean and spacious, the employees are professional, courteous and efficient. The food has a wholesome feel with much less salt than your average Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are delicious... I should have caught my avocado tostada before I demolished it! The bar is in back, looked dark in the day, but seemed pretty full of regulars.

A popular place with lots of seating options. A separate gaming room offers a pool table and video games. Service is fast and efficient. I had the Pollo Jalisco. It was very tasty with just the right amount of chicken vs. veggies.
